App User Behavior in 2020: United States

The coronavirus pandemic set off an era of social distancing and changed the relationship between mobile users and their apps. 

Criteo's recent survey shows that US app users now depend even more on apps to shop for products, connect with their loved ones, and entertain themselves. With stay-at-home mandates in place, American app users spent more time on their favourite apps, and they also discovered new apps.
